I teach my kinder babies for 3 hours, 20 minutes tomorrow then I'm kicking them out of the door and on to first grade! It's been SUCH a crazy year, I can't believe it's finally over!

I'm also unsure exactly what I'll be doing next year. I have an interview on Friday with my current administration for a specialist position. If I get it I'll be a Learning Strategist, pulling small groups to work on reading and writing. I would really like it, I held a similar position last year and it was far less stressful. However, the rumors flying around school now are saying that someone has been offered the position already and that the interviews are just a formality. So send me good vibes on Friday!

Good luck!! That is what I do at my school, just pull out the kinder kiddies and work on reading and writing. This year I worked with the at risk kids until about March and then jumped into the "gifted cluster" which was a blast!

I didn't know if my job was funded for next year until our last day of school at 3:30! And it was!!

Consider the good vibes sent!!!

OOh, can I have your job? I did the reading and writing support, but this year I've been given the behaviour support (you know the bad kids who keep getting asked to leave the classroom). I don't like it at all, it's very stressful...oops, sorry, this isn't about me! Good luck at the interview, I hope those "rumors" are just that!

FREEDOM!!!!

Kids are gone, I'm sitting in a quiet, completely packed classroom just waiting for 3:31 to roll around.

Even better than freedom, the lady who I had heard had the position I wanted came and talked with me today to let me know that the rumors weren't true and she's interviewing just like everyone. And even if she gets it, I get her classroom which is twice the size of mine. So I win either way! (Unless don't hire either of us!)
