Hey now, don't get all huffy, croc. I didn't say your post was lame or stupid - just odd. And you know it was odd, you meant it to be odd, and you like being odd. I was just making an observation.
Like you say, takes all kinds!

| kari12177 Sat 7/5/2008 10:19a | I was in the mall and thought of a moment. When we were at DL last year we stayed at the GCH. My son and I were taking the elevator and he of course was horsing around and leaned against the buttons. Which then a person came over the intercom and asked if everything was ok. I was so embarassed. I was actually lucky he didnt lean against the alarm. By then, he finally knew what he did was serious and not to fool around. |

| YumaJohn Wed 10/15/2008 7:29p | Not to resurrect an old topic but I didn't want to start a new thread and this cracked me up. My 7 year old daughter and I were waiting in line for pirates on sunday. The line was unusually slow moving and we were looking at the pirate portraits painted on the wall when my daughter said (loudly) "I bet you wish they had Captain Morgan on the wall. I know he's your favorite pirate." I heard several snickers from the folks around me in while while I tried to play it cool. Later when I told my wife about it we both cracked up laughing. Kids do say the darnedst things. |

I don't have any serious embarassing offenses... of course now I say that I dread what may happen on my next trip :O
We went for new years this year and I was wearing a pair of knit pants that I had bought in the park... their like a faded turquoise-y color with a pretty squirl-y pink logo at the bottom with Mickey and it says Disneyland... anyway not that you care what they look like.
The point is that I wear them because they are comfortable for walking, riding rides etc. :D Well, I quickly learned that when riding GRR something a little more stable that does not EXPAND in water is a better choice. For about an hour after that ride I had to walk holding them up so they didn't fall off. SO... we eventually went back to our room at the DLH to take a nap during the hottest part of the day and so we could be up and ready for new years eve fireworks-which were canceled because of wind :( but that's another thread- so I of course didn't bring any other pants because-well, I like these ones and we're only here for a couple days. The rest of my party delighted in explaining how stupid this was-yeah, I get it.
But I needed them dry and shrunk back down to original size sooooo I decide to walk across the ENTIRE grounds of the hotel to the mini laundry room they have hidden in the catacombs to dry my pants... What did I wear while I did this? Oh my PJ pants which are obviously PJ pants with odd colors and covered with Chip and Dale-hey at least they're Disney-and enjoy the stares and points of people saying "look at her pants! Chip and Dale!" Thank you Sherlock you know your Disney characters, now go back to what you were doing.
To this day I always have several pairs of pants and I NEVER ride GRR or Splash in my knit pantalones :D |
