I don't like fireworks much. Beautiful to look at, but the noise has always bothered me. So I enjoy them with ears plugged. It was 1980something and was carrying hot chocolate back to where myh family was sitting when the fireworks started. I immediately did what my hands were conditioned to do -- I plugged my ears.......and sent torrents of hot chocolate all over my back.

This didn't happen at DL, but it was at the MK. While it was raining outside, we got in line for Space Mountain (with the line stretching out the door, into the rain). We eventually made it into the building, to the tunnel under the train tracks. For those who haven't visited WDW, it's a long straight tunnel with a slight grade to get below the tracks. It has some backlit pictures of star formations on the walls, but it's very dark (especially after being outside).

Anyway, somebody in my group discovered that because the floor and our shoes were so wet, you could just sort of lock your knees and shakw your hips and it would move you foreward. Obviously, this was more fun than walking like a sane person, so I had to do it. I shimmied my way down the ramp, and suddenly stopped. I had just ran into some random lady right in front of me, who was shorter than me and well hidded in the dark. I'm pretty sure that if she wasn't holding onto the railing, we both would have hit the floor. I apologized and felt really bad about it, so I tried to switch places with the person behind me (who was in my group), but that area was so narrow that it was impossible to get around eachother, and I had to stay behind the lady for quite a bit longer.

Since we're on the topic of buns... I have this nifty little habbit of grabbing my hubby buns and whispering, "Hey sexy man of mine, nice buns." Well that came up and bit ME in the buns a few years ago in the Emporium. My hubby and I were browsing though the store, and like a typical woman I was blabbering on and on about what to buy for whom. Unaware that my sexy bunned man had walked around to the isle behind me, I kept talking thinking he we was right next to me. (I'm sure you can see where this was going). Not paying attention, I mistakenly grabbed the buns of the guy standing next to me (thinking it was my husbands buns) and said those magic words... "Hey sexy man, nice buns." I was thanked by a very nice older gentleman who smiled ever so lovingly at me. I almost puked!!! I was so shocked to discover that it wasn't my husbands buns that I had grabbed, but a complete stranger's. I didn't know if I should cry or run! To ease my pain, the man softly giggled a bit and said, "Your husband is a very lucky man...my wife hasn't touched my back end in years." Just as he said that...guess who walked up!?!!! Oh gee...Hi honey with the sexy buns on the isle behind me!!! I explained to my husband what happened (nearly in tears) and to my surprise my hubby looked at the gentleman and said, "Isn't she great?" OMG!!! Needless to say, I now pay closer attention to where my husband is standing before I go "grabbing". So not a Disney moment!!!!

That is so funny. I love hearing these but I am sure that there are some that are holding back some great stories.
Here is one that is small but still kind of funny. Well, at least to my family. This was at WDW. I was 17 years old and I hadn't been since I was a kid. I was going on HM for the first time (when I was little it was WAY too scary for me) and I didn't know what to expect. So we were in the stretching room and all I hear is that someone is going to be our host (of course I know the whole thing by heart now) but I was expecting someone to show up. Out of no where my Mom grabs my sholder and I screamed. I thought for sure that someone or something had come up behind me. I must have jumped so high that I could have hit the skeleton hanging at the top. People around me were laughing at this 17 year old kid that almost crapped his pants. To this day, my sister has to remind me of it. Remember the time... Yeah, thanks sis.

<---------- Had the skirt flying up thing happen on stairs in front of her high school... Ended up dating the guy who saw it for a year and a half after they "really" met some months later. ;-)

ok so my last trip was the trip from hell.. and pretty embarrasing.. and not the good embarrasing.. First of all i went with a coworker and her 2 daughters 12 and 8 and 17 year old cousin.

Every single day the 8 year old would pee her pants ON the ride. it happened on haunted mansion, pirates, splash mountain and others.. and the worst part was that the mom didnt tell anyone after so they could clean it..AND she wouldnt take her daughter to change she would put a sweater around her waist and let her ride rides... i would not ride things with her.. she even had me go buy pull ups for her, did she make her wear them??? no..

and honestly the first time it happened i was like its ok she just got scared... but after the second time, she should have learned her daughter gets scared.. it was just embarrasing walking around with an 8 year old that smelled of pee.. maybe its mean of me to think that, but it was awful. And finally i got tired if it and told my coworker i couldnt take it anymore and that i would no longer ride things with her daughter. or at least be the one to sit next to her. i dont care if u are 8 or 80. if u cant hold your bladder, dont sit by me. i mean that in the nicest way i can mean it.

oh and then the last day we were there at 11:45 pm my coworker started yelling at me in the middle of the store for something i didnt even do and then she decided to yell something extremely personal in front of everyone too..

so thats the way i remember my last trip.. pretty embarrassing.
