| SoThisIsLove Thu 6/5/2008 9:36a | Have you seen the old Disney movie about them? It's kind of cool....and I imagine it will in no way prepare you for today's modern experience, but you will get a bit of the history. Have a great time, gottaluvdahorses! |

If you can trust me, another golden oldie I would recommend is "Almost Angels", 1962, about the Vienna boys choir.
While I was on a high school choir trip, we were all shown that in an auditorium (I think it was an All-State trip). Being choir kids, we really got a kick out of it.
Your family might enjoy it. I hope I can find it somewhere to show mine. They've never seen it, to my knowledge. |

| WDWdreamin Thu 6/5/2008 11:45a | Hi. I really hope you enjoy the show.
My fiance and I found it kinda boring for most of the time. The horses are very beautiful and the moves are impressive. It was just a lot longer than us "non-horse people" needed. That's just us, and again, I hope you enjoy it. |

| dshyates Fri 6/6/2008 4:27a | SoThisIsLove, your a chior geek? Me too. I actually went to Vienna with a 17 voice Chamber Chior while in college. Quite an odd trip. We were promised a trip to Europe, and the London, Paris, Rome trip fell through because the dollar tanked (1988). So we went to Warsaw, Prague, and Vienna. In Dec./Jan. New Years Eve in Warsaw is an experience. Back On Topic: While we were in Vienna we got to tour the Lipiwhatever Stallions stable. They are stunningly beatutiful horses. And trust me, they live better than I do. |

| Rsey103 Sat 6/7/2008 11:02a | It's a show everyone can enjoy. When they come to our area they stay at my niece's barn. She's had some good experiences with them.
Yes, check out the Walt Disney movie and learn the story about how Patton's army saved the horses during WWII.
