Topic: Wish me luck!

1	LVBelle Fri 6/6/2008 10:03a	I leave in about a half hour for a job interview! It's for a learning strategist position at my current school. I'd be pulling small groups of kids to work on reading and writing skills like I did at my last school. I'm a little nervous because I'm going against a friend of mine. Rumor had it that she was already asked to take the position and that interviews were just a formality but she came and told me that that was not the case. The good news is that if she gets it then I get her old classroom which is about twice the size of mine! So throw some good vibes towards Vegas around 11:00 please! :)

9	LVBelle Fri 6/6/2008 2:07p	Well, I just got the call, I didn't get it. I have a feeling it was decided long before the interview, especially since I felt like the interview went very well. I'm disappointed but the good news is that I get the big classroom next year! And I love the girl that has the room next door, we'll make a fabulous team and I think we'll be able to build a very strong grade level, something we did not have this year.
