1	gaydsnywitch Fri 6/6/2008 3:24p	I'm here and mostly settled in. I'm ready to meet some Phoenix area LPers. I'm just beginning to learn what's around so I'm open to suggestions as to where to meet. I don't have a job yet so I'm also open to meeting whenever is convenient for the most people.
2	ShivaThDestroyer Fri 6/6/2008 5:52p	gaydsnywitch, congrats on the move and getting settled in. I know I'm off topic but I just wanted to wish you all the best in your new location, in finding that perfect job and meeting some of the local LP'ers.
3	tinkerbell1962 Fri 6/6/2008 9:22p	Yeah! What would YOU like to do? Meet for coffee (iced of course!), maybe for appetizers, or a dinner???? Any suggestions fellow Phoenicians??? I'm only working part time over the summer and I'm available most early evenings or on the weekends. Any day except for June 25th for me (taking my two teens to a concert this day).
4	gaydsnywitch Sat 6/7/2008 10:44a	Well, I would like to go to the zoo, but I know that's not for everyone. Tempe Marketplace could be fun. Maybe a Cold Stone meet. Or how about the Tempe Town Lake Fourth of July fireworks thing? Is there a good doughnut shop somewhere and we could have a breakfast meet. :) Oh, I think I mentioned it elsewhere but I'll repeat it here. I'll be in Oregon June 13th to 15th; I'm going to be attending my brother's wedding.
5	tinkerbell1962 Sun 6/8/2008 11:10a	I like the idea of the Tempe Marketplace. Good call GDW, take your pick of Cold Stone ... Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf ... Paradise Bakery all are great places with choices. Pick the date and I'll be there. Maybe this Thursday? The weather is "supposed" to be cooler, only a high of 100 or so. That's comfortable to sit in as long it's after the sun starts setting. There's good seating at the tables or on the sofas up by the fireplace. In a couple of weeks it'll be disgusting outside. Or would you like to wait until after the wedding? I might bring my two teen daughters, or at least a couple of the friends I'm bringing to Club 33 next month. Or, I'll come by myself! Just let me know. I'll add my email address to my profile if you want to contact me.
6	gaydsnywitch Mon 6/9/2008 2:26p	I forgot that I have to go back to finish up some stuff in Tucson before I head to Oregon on Friday. So, I guess that means that we'll have to have the meet after the wedding. How about 11AM on June 21st? Hopefully that's early enough in the day that it won't have hit 100 yet but not too early for lunch. I figure it might be easier for people to make a Saturday meet and putting it off a few days will give more people a chance to notice the thread.
