That's so very sweet and generous of you to say that. We look forward to the day we will finally get to meet the famous Baloo bear clan. :)

Dave - are you saying they kicked people out at 7? Because I did check and they do close at 7. I presumed we could still stay and eat tho. Maybe someone else can call and find out if we can stay at the picnic tables til 7:30.

And yes, the topic header is wrong - I believe we are to gather between 6 and 6:30 depending on when the Pukin' meet ends.

Post 10:
I think Lulu suggested a perfect time; 6:00-7:30. If they close at 7:00 and we have to leave the "snack bar", we can always head over to GCH and the Hearthstone Lounge to have a drink or just relax and talk before we head to the Electrical Parade.

So we can go with that if we can't get a better answer from Disney.

Not sure Lulu, we were too busy enjoying the company of LPers. But I was SHOCKED when we found it closed at 8pm. At Disneyworld, it wouldn't surprise me. At the Grand, it is the only thing I would improve upon by opening it longer.

Hey!

We're actually bringing a very small, teeny-tiny, insignificant, loser-worthy token of our affection, so please consider signing up...even if you don't show up, we can throw it at you as you walk by later in the evening! :)

This meet will be as mercifully short and semi-painless as we can make it! We know you have places to go and parades and stuff to see! xoxo

STiL, do you think Tinkeroon and I might be able to squeeze in. I know this is short notice and all.

You should be able to stay until 7:30 or even a little later. You should try to have your food ordered before 7. They usually let you stay inside while they clean up the kitchen and may even let you know when they'll be turning off the soda machines. You can always move to the outside area and to finish eating if the staff looks ready to leave.

poohbear, thanks so much! That's exactly the info we need :-)

If people arrive between 6 (non-parkgoers) and 6:15 or so (Pukin' people) we should be able to get our orders in on time w/o overwhelming the kitchen. Then have plenty of time to eat and chat!

The early ones might want to stake out some tables outside, if it looks like there's room for our large group. And if it's fairly empty, maybe even inside would work. The tables outside seem to be a bit isolated from each other. I just don't want our group to take over the inside area and disrupt other patrons :-)
