Have one wish granted today

or

three wishes granted in ten years?

(and no wishing for more wishes!)

Easy...ten years. I'll be closing in on 50 then and my kids will be closing in on driving age and not far off from college. I'll need those wishes more then than I do now.

they've shown that the ablilty to delay gratification is the best indication of future success in toddlers. (When you offer a toddler one piece of candy now or 3 pieces later, the kids that take the 3 pieces later are more likely to do well in school and in the work force.)

So, I'll be mature and pick 3 wishes later. :)

Wait a minute...I thought we were talking wishes. If we are talking candy then I want one piece now.

In ten years, I'll be 60...

Wish #1 - Please keep me healthy and let me die, painlessly, in my sleep sometime past 87 years old.

Wish #2 - Ditto for Mr. Alice.

Wish #3 - A modest sum of $2 million to keep us comfy and entertained throughout retirement.

Hmm..that's a tough one. My life right now is pretty hectic.

I pick one wish now...but I'll pick the large sum of money ($5 mil?) so I can spend the next 10 years getting out of debt, finishing school, and investing, so that in 10 years, I can survive on my own means.

Due to low enrollment in my school, I have been let go so one wish right now sounds good. BUT, my boys are young so I gotta go 3 in 10 years.

Hmmm... I was GOING to take the 10-year plan, HOWEVER... if I wish well, it can carry me!

That was my thinking, jdub..
