<<<I Am Legend for the junior set>>>

Interesting....

I remember when everyone was saying that Cars was a little bit like Doc Hollywood...and you know, it was.

All the reviews I have seen so far have been really positive. There was a really great review at Ain't It Cool News:
http://www.aintitcool.com/node/37098
The reviewer describes Wall-E as "arguably the best film Walt Disney has ever had its name on" and "one of the absolute best hard science fiction films made in my adult life" AND :an incredible work of speculative future mythology the likes of which, I've never seen"

>>"arguably the best film Walt Disney has ever had its name on"<<

Uh huh ... and Terence Trent D'arby is better than the Beatles ...

I'm sure Wall-E is wonderful, but come on ...

Hey, I love Ain't It Cool News too, but they are the most hyperbolic bunch of people I've ever seen. Apparently it's not news if it isn't followed by 47 exclamation points. And a movie review from Harry Knowles isn't a movie review unless it includes 15 paragraphs about his childhood and how much he loved such and such a movie and blah blah blah, until he finally decides to talk about the film actually being reviewed. He has got to be the worst film critic EVER.

All that said, I'm getting more and more pumped for WALL-E.

If I worked for Ain't It Cool News I'm sure every film I'd see was the greatest if I kept getting invited to early screenings.

You should see their review for The Happening.

Well... outside of AICN every single review I have read has been very positive. The buzz has been extremely positive for this but it's really not very hard to believe that this film will be amazing. Everything I have seen so far just backs up that belief.
