| lesmisfan Wed 6/18/2008 1:42p | what at the very beginning of the day it wrapped all the way passed bugs land, into hollywood and by the front gate. at least that is what i was told. and it didn't help that it went down very shortly after it had opened, and then it went down not to long after one thirty for a few hours. but after it was up and running, it kept a steady three hours throughout the night. |

| submarine-maniac Wed 6/18/2008 2:40p | When i rode it yesterday we got in line by the Screamin' entrance and it snaked up to Ariel's Grotto and back down to where the rollercoaster takes off. Then, it went all zig zag there and went across to the actual structure for the ride. When waiting by Screamin' the line seemed to move alot and then stop for a long time. They would stop the line and then in a few mins would let people cross over the the ride. Once at the ride area, it only took about 30-45 mins. When we got in line they said 3 hours but it only took us about an hour and a half. Not bad for opening day! :) |

| oc_dean Wed 6/18/2008 10:04p | I imagine with 650,000+ AP Holders ... it ought to be holding that 90 minute line for the foreseeable summer.
Plus .. I should equate the fact this 90 minute weight is on a weekday .. Where's the weekends should be 2 hours? |

| DlandDug Thu 6/19/2008 11:21p | Since you asked...
On Tuesday (opening day) there was a tremendous line that did, indeed, run across most of the park.
On Wednesday they opened the front half of DCA before 10am and let people move up to the bridge leading to Paradise Pier. When the rope was dropped there was a mad dash to get to the official entrance at the bottom of the hill in Paradise Pier. It was a real mess for a while, but the line eventually settled down to about a two hour wait. It ended up around 90 minutes eventually.
Today (Thursday) the DCA cast was ready. When the gates opened at 9:30 (10am opening time), cast members directed Midway Mania riders to the right, through Condor Flats. A single line was formed up through the trail behind Grizzly Peak. This was then lead across the Paradise Pier bridge and through the outer queue lines. It was quite smooth.
I plan to go back tomorrow morning (my ds is out of school). I will let you know what the average wait time was, and how the line is being handled. |

| socalkdg Fri 6/20/2008 10:30a | We went yesterday and go into line by Ariels Grotto at 10:20. The line lasted 90 minutes at this time.
By about 2 PM when we were leaving the line started right at the Midway Mania entrance and was listed at 60 minutes, which really only took 45 minutes earlier that morning.
Go first thing (10 AM) or wait until the late afternoon/evening. |

| spaceace Fri 6/20/2008 11:03a | I went on thursday so the line at opening and said no I wait tell later. I went on Sceaming and line was just over the launch point for Screaming. It was about 110 min. from when we got to the covered area next to the launch point by the new hot dog place. The heat was bad on thursday. They do need a little more shade on some of the line. There is an inside Q area that has fans but they were not running the line inside there. The line dose seem to move fast and I think Fast Pass would sloww the ride down. |
