Friday report (as promised): The same procedure as described for Thursday was used. It worked quite well again, so I assume they will use it as long as the early morning crowds hold out. The line got to a little over two hours, then stabilized at 90-120 minutes as we were leaving (around 11am). |

| Malin Sat 6/21/2008 4:37a | So real question is how is the rest of DCA doing with all these extra guest visiting to get there first ride in on Toy Story Midway Mania. Are guest coming in and lining up, taking in the ride than heading next door to DL. Or is the rest of the shops, restaurants and attractions at DCA recieving an extra nice attendance boost too? |

| Malin Sat 6/21/2008 7:27a | Well I would think the point would be for TSMM to not only lure paying guest to DCA, but to also keep them inside the DCA park for longer. If guest or in the case of the DLR, Annual Passholders are visiting DCA to ride TSMM, and than leaving the park straight away to visit DL next door I would consider its kind of failed. But if guest are visitng DCA taking in a ride on TSMM and than heading over to Soarin, Grizzly River Run and other attractions, while spending money on the way than it could be considered a suscess. I realise adding a gift shop towards the exit would help out sales for that shop, but how is the rest of the park shaping up, are people staying longer? |

I would think that they'd be staying longer, especially on the weekends, and visiting DL. I might be in the minority but I really like DCA but don't visit there as often as I do DL.

| DlandDug Sat 6/21/2008 2:19p | On Wednesday, the day after the official opening, Don Tomas closed early because they ran out of Turkey Legs and chimichangas. Coincidence? |

| Darkbeer Sat 6/21/2008 3:24p | What it tells me, that they are ODV items made HOURS in advance, and if they run out, they can't easily make more.
Now, what happens to those items when they don't sell out???
Give me FRESH!!!! |

The standby line is unbelievably slow with FP at DHS. It's a mess with FP...I'm sure once the initial rush slows down at DCA, it will operate much more efficiently then DHS's version.
