If so, does anyone know how long the wait is at the end of the day. We will be there the second half of July and I figure we can avoid the hot sun this way. |

Wait time yesterday around 5:50pm was 40 min until the ride broke down for about half an hour. Mr. Potato Head was not working. At least the line did not Q into the pavillion, gets too stuffy in there. The good thing is that Screaming blocks the sun during that time of day and provides a bit of shade. So if you time it right... |

Yes. That has been the policy on every single ride since at least the 1970s if not before. |

| Mort2 Sun 6/22/2008 5:16p | Today, Sunday around 2 p m, posted wait time was 70 minutes, actual wait time just under 40 minutes.
It is a great ride, BTW. If this is a taste of what is to come, we're in for some fantastic additions. |

| bean Sun 6/22/2008 5:44p | The park was actually busy this weekend. Midway mania saw steady lines all after noon of a bit over an hour but it seems to helping the parkoverall.
Grizzley saw lines of 60 to 120 minute waits with fastpass returns in the late evening at around 2pm.
Suprisingly Golden Dreams saw an increase in attendance with some shows about 3/4 full.
Overall the crowds were strong in DCA.
Disneyland also had decent crowds thruout with parade routes not heavily packed due to the heat.
Overall many guests were leaving early most likely due to the relentless heat |

mr. Potato head was not down for long. Tech personal were there making sure that he was back up and running ASAP. He did shut down two or three times but for just a very few minutes |

| Darkbeer Mon 6/23/2008 10:06a | OK, my personal experence from Sunday, June 22nd.
Toy Story Mania! had a long line at 9:40 AM, just 10 minutes after opening, and was over a 2 hour wait just after 10 Am.
TSM! was posted with a 75 minute wait time around 3:30 PM. (Some of the covered queue next to Don Tomas being used).
As for GRR.
Got a Fastpass around 11:30 AM, and the posted Stand By time was 50 minutes.
Returned just before 4 PM to use the FP, and GRR had a posted 55 minute wait for the Stand By line.
Plenty of photos from both parks Sunday at this link...

Looks like you still don't want to give in and call the attraction by its real name "Toy Story Midway Mania" |

| Darkbeer Mon 6/23/2008 10:49a | I am using the same name that The Walt Disney Company, in both its Corporate and Public Relations communications use, along with what is posted at its official websites, and also used in TV and other forms of Advertising.
If Toy Story Mania! is good enough for Bob Iger and Jay Rasulo, then it is good enough for me. |
