To Quote Mr. AL Lutz

you mean the marketing goons :)

"While the design and operation of this new attraction have been debuting smoothly and easily, the folks in TDA's Marketing department, known oddly as "Yellow Shoes Marketing", are making it difficult for the paying customers by refusing to admit that this new ride is in DCA. These are the same folks who went to war with WDI six months ago over what to call this new attraction, with WDI officially winning the battle and christening the ride Toy Story Midway Mania in both California and Florida. But the Marketing goons slunk back to their office with a trick up their sleeve, and went ahead and ignored the actual title of the attraction and instead began calling it simply Toy Story Mania in all printed and televised media."

Its ok though that name will not be around long. ;)

I am stressing the Midway in the name anytime I am there. It does spread confusing to have two different names. I actaully had a family ask where is toy story mania, and i pointed to toy story midway mania and said right here, and they said no, that is toy story midway mania, we are looking for toy story mania and had to explain that it was the same attraction.

Westgate is a time share company that started in Orlando. The Anaheim GardenWalk will be Westgate's first project in California, and will be located on top of the AGW parking lot.

We must have hit the line at just the right time. We got into DCA at 2:00 on wed.. The line was only 45 minutes. I never saw it longer than 60.

Hi all,

I was at the resort this past weekend with my mother and we went on TSM around 7 pm on Sat. When we got there, the sign said 75 mins. But, while we were about to get in line, it dropped to 60 mins. But, being Disney, we waited maybe 45 mins, so not bad for the first Saturday this thing was opened. BUT, Disney was actually pretty manageable that day. Nothing past Nemo and Splash was over an hour. Most things were 45 mins or less so it was pretty strange for it to be so light.

Also, Mr. Potato Head wasn't working. Sad :(.

It has been really hot the last few days, which I tend to believe has kept the locals at home. Despite this, TSMM has managed to attract large crowds at rope drop. That the numbers fall off over the day is probably due to the heat, and the fact that DCA just doesn't draw the kind of crowds that Disneyland does.

On Monday June 23rd we got to the resort at about 1:30 and went straight to TSMM. Our posted wait was 60 minutes, it was actually closer to 45 minutes.

FWIW, I don't normally like the 3-D projections, but I didn't have any problem with this one. Maybe because it was shorter than one of the shows? Also I liked it much better than Buzz (and I *like* buzz) because I could see where I was aiming, and then could adjust my aim. I can never figure out which lazar point is mine at buzz.

Parents of very small children should also know that (unlike buzz) this ride allows no lap sitting. Your little one can sit propped up between you, but can't sit on your lap, so this is not for the very youngest of Disney's guests.
