Wed 7/2/2008 11:52a | Our local radio station has a contest currently (giving away a Disney trip, 4x daily). In all the promos they call it "Toy Story Mania!" Even while they did the live broadcast from DL/DCA, they called it the same thing. |

The attraction is toy story MIDWAY mania. It is whats on the SIGN in front of the attraction and the potatoe CALLS IT Midway as well. |

Which matters not one bit. They can all call it Gone With the Wind if they want. The official name is Toy Story Midway Mania. People will probably end up calling it the Toy Story ride.
Incidently, I say with completev assurance that the name is Toy Story Midway Mania for two reasons:
1. Kevin Rafferty, the lead designer of the attraction was quite clear that the name has been Toy Story Midway Mania from the very beginning. He said that the use of Toy Story Mania is just a simplification by marketing.
2. Read the name over the main entrance of each attraction. It's Toy Story Midway Mania. Simple as that. |
