This would sum up what has already been mentioned online by sites like DLRPToday, that WDI have been spotted in the parks already doing baloon test. It looks almost concrete that the Studios is going to recieve a brand new Ratatouille attraction in time for the 20th Anniversary. |

The other side of WDSP desperately needs bringing up to the standard of the Toon Studios end and not only is the park well catered for in the toon department, it's very well catered for in the Pixar department.
I'd love a proper dark ride, but I doubt a good one would fit in the area behind the Animation Tour and I'd still hope for something other than Ratatouille!!! |

But to get a Ratatouille attraction would be a huge plus in my opinion. Ratatouille is about a French Rat and is set in Paris. A movie that in my opinion is set very close to home and would prove to locals that DLRP is developing attractions to fit in with local taste. The movie was a big suscess thanks largely to the European market. I would much rather see an attraction based on this movie more than any other Pixar movie at DLRP. |

I'd rather not have any more attractions based on Pixar movies at DLRP, especially not if we might be getting TSMM.

To go along with the already very popular Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback, Aristocat and 102 Dalmatians attractions?
Whilst I appreciate that the parks should cater to local tastes that shouldn't automatically mean that they should be so bereft of ideas that they have to produce yet another (Pixar) Toon experience. If it was that important the Cars ride could have easily been themed around Ratatouille!!! |

On that spot we open up a Ratatouille themed restaurant, either themed around the restaurant in the movie or as we're in Toon Studios Remy could be running the studio canteen where the Toons eat their meals. This gives us the opportunity to have a little fun with the decor (props etc) and it can host character meals as well.
Then we'll replace Armageddon with a WALL:E attraction (similar show, but it should have a wider appeal). The hard part would be keeping the edutainment as obviously WALL:E doesn't use real effects, but animated ones. We can set up a couple of really cool robot AA's as well.
This also helps to add some pizazz to that side of the park as the Armageddon building could be refurbed to look more interesting.
So we have 2 new Pixar offerings (despite the fact that I don't really want any!), a full service restaurant which can serve character meals at selected times, a revamp to Armageddon and some placemaking in the Backlot area.
Sounds good to me. Now, how can we fix the Tram Tour?!!! |

How cool would it be to have ordered meatloaf and have Remy run by by booth and say "I made that meatloaf with specail for you!"
The waitstaff could program in what you ordered and let the interactivity begin! Voila!

Like them or not the Pixar characters are very popular in Europe and movies like Crush and Cars relate well to today's average audience that visits the park. You only have too look at how popular Buzz and Crush are to realise the Pixar branding while despised by many online is what the public wants to see. As for adding differnt character attractions to the Studios it seems to me with the exception of Toy Story characters all the other Pixar stars only appear at the Studios. Beauty and the Beast would not fit the theme of the Studios to well.

If memory serves me right I don't think Cars had yet been released at the time of construction, let alone Ratatouille, so it would of been impossible for them to know how much of an impact that movie would have on the European audience.
