Thanks for the article. My first 5 times going to Disneyland we flew from PDX and then took the helicopter over. Was very cool.

I remember in the early 60's for my birthday my parents said, to come with them as we had to drive to get my birthday present. Off we went and I had no idea where on earth we were going. Well we went to LAX and boarded the L.A.Airways Helicopter and went to Disneyland for the day, overnight in the hotel and then most of the next day at Disneyland before we flew back to LAX. It was one of the best birthdays....and such good memories.

Thanks for this post, again, it really brought back some memories.

This was about 3 miles from where I grew up and my mom took us over to see the disaster. We was standing on the corner of the park watching and Police Officer asked us to move back a bit and informed us that where we were stand they recovered a severed head earlier that day.

We could see the copter traveling back and forth all day to Disneyland.
