This is mostly for those living in Japan but if anyone knows the answer please let me know. I just found out Dreamland closed (I know I am 2 years behind the time). My question is what is up with it now? Did they just bulldoze it or what?

I heard they paved over it to make room for a recreation of DCA.

They figured the "quality of authenticity" problem wouldn't be as big an issue. :p

Cool I can see it now...
"Soaring over Sapporo", "Doraevision 3D", "The Authentic Rice Cracker Factory", and the "The Shibuya Tower of Terror.

Hope no one takes offense to my Japanese pop references. Sad part is it will probably be better than DCA. :( Dreamland was like a wierd DL dream, I could never say I like it, but at the same time I couldn't say I didn't like it. I will say this it was a lot cheapt than DL.

Not if you include the flight. ;p

(or even the bullet train ticket from Tokyo lol)

WorldDisney made it there before they closed, he had some interesting commentary about THAT place (something about vending machines and folding chairs in the castle?).

I've seen those boat jumpers, I just thought they were recklessly screwing around! :p

It ain't all that impressive, honestly (reason why I just thought they were fooling around). ;)

Those taiko drum games are everywhere in Japan.

Kinda like guitar hero, ya know?
