1	Malin Mon 6/23/2008 1:03p	Seeing that this has not been reported yet, construction for a new project in Adventureland has gone pass the train tracks. Now the rumour was that this was going to be a new maze attraction for Halloween, but with the size and scope of the project it looks like space is being cleared possibly for new expansion. Could the park be ready to add the Haunted Mansion or Pirates?
2	NeverlandClub Tue 6/24/2008 12:44a	When I took a tour of WDI in October 2005, I was able to see the model of HKDL. At the time they were deciding on which attraction would be next. The model included Autopia and it's a small world which have since been built. There were three more attractions in the model. POTC is placed in the back of Fantasyland by thr trail that leads to Adventureland. The outside looks very much like Skull Rock. The other two attractions Haunted Mansion and Raging Spirits are in Adventureland. At the time of our tour, we were told that Rageing Spirits was not going to be done. I noticed the clearing in Adventureland from the top of Tarzan's Treehouse in April 2005. At hte time it seemed strange to me to see since the park is so beautifully landscaped. Kind od blew the show, the I remember the model and that is where the Haunted Mansion was placed. Until the official announcement...we can only keep our fingers crossed...things change so fast at WDI.
3	Malin Tue 6/24/2008 6:11a	I think what ever its going to be it will be a new E Ticket attraction. The area of land looks huge and it was big enough to close the train down. Also this project started right up after Small World opened. NeverlandClub I did read some where else that the next attraction to come would be the Haunted Mansion, but I'm not sure if its been given the green light yet or if WDI are preparing the land for future use. I'm just waiting for the confirmation, but everyone's being quiet.

6	Spirit of 74 Wed 6/25/2008 11:56a	Everyone's being quiet because the Mouse is playing hardball with the Chinese on who will pay what ... and unlike back in the late 90s when the deal to build the park was hammered out, Disney doesn't have the upper hand in these negotiations (see the park/development not being built in Shanghai!)
7	Malin Wed 6/25/2008 1:52p	If this is the case why doesn't the Govement step away and give its share up, which I think it has an option to do. Clearly while the two sides continue to play politics, Ocean Park is recieving the development that HKDL should be getting. My concern is that if Ocean Park in its current shape is having better attendance, whats it gong to be like once the Killer Whales and Polar Bears turn up in 2010.
8	Malin Wed 7/9/2008 1:08a	The Hong Kong media are starting to report that a new version of the Haunted Mansion will open up next year. Take that at face vaule as nothing has been confirmed yet, although I find it interesting how no one has yet dismissed these rumours!
9	The Goddess Mara Sun 7/13/2008 12:56p	If the media are reporting that a new version of the Haunted Mansion will open next year, that has to refer to the Haunted Hotel business that was done for Halloween. It would take at least two years, working full tilt, to get a new Haunted Mansion built from scratch.
