Wed 6/25/2008 2:26a | I've just realised we are actually less than 2 weeks away from the opening of the new Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. With such an important milestone about to take place in the Resorts history its time to start building interest up on here as some will be visiting straight away, while others will be waiting for the pics. Either way we will soon be opening up debates on which hotel is the more elegant, TDL Hotel or Mira Costa. So who's going to turn up on opening day and who's made booking for a future date?

Wed 6/25/2008 5:53a | I expect a lot of people will end up doing the same as you SuperDry. This massive structure has changed the look of Tokyo Bay and its a no brainer that people will want to check it out. It will be interesting to see what hidden treasures await for guest, and what there will make of the new Restaurants. I know this hotel is going to score high marks when it comes to detailed theming as this always seems a high priority for OLC with money being no problem. We only have to take a look at Disney Sea to realise it wasn't built on the cheap. |

Also getting to preview some of the restaurants and shops, which ever ones are operational during my stay.

Wed 6/25/2008 2:31p | I will be sure to do that. Though I think you'll be pleased to know that I'm actually expecting the hotel to surpass even the MiraCosta. Not in location or views obviously, but in other aspects of the hotel. The atrium, in particular, looks especially impressive. |
