Will this be a similar set-up like the POLY?

Zero-entry pool with a beach across the sidewalk?

I can't wait to see the pool when it is complete. I think it's going to be great.

Now if they only re-opened a bar in this place - I say YEAH.

I think this is the only Moderate that does not have a "lounge" with drinks.

I'm very curious now ... where did the Caribbean bar used to be?

Wasn't it just next to the pool? Outside of the Port Royal, right?

That one is still there, it's even open now during construction. I was assuming he was referring to one actually inside the hotel. As best as I can think, Caribbean Beach is the only WDW hotel of any level that doesn't have an inside bar (Old Key West's is sort of outside but not completely outside like a pool bar)

Doobie.

^^CBR was built as a value resort. There was no such thing as a moderate when it opened and it was vastly less pricey than others, so it didn't even have a table service restaurant.

The Captain's Table, which I never did dine at, was shoehorned into the food court maybe 4 years or so after opening once Port Orleans and Dixie Landings came onboard with full serve dining.

That location was subsequently removed in the major renovation early this decade and Shutter's, which is quite good, replaced it albeit at the opposite end of the building.

There never was a real bar inside.
