With the recent annoucement from WDW that its going to be closing all the night clubs down on Pleasure Island, it makes me wonder if Hurricane's in the Disney Village days are numbered too. Night clubs seem a thing of the past for Disney and I just wonder how long its going to take Management in Paris to come to the same conclusion.

Can't say I have ever been all the times we visited. Does this mean it will be replaced with something more family orientated maybe even a Disney Quest type experience??

Hurricanes is abysmal, definately not in the same league as the PI experiences. Sadly. As long as Billy Bob's continues playing live country and rock, I am a happy camper.

But bang goes anything like the AC coming to DLP (yes I know Col Hathi's used to be similar). :-(

You can count me in as someone who's never stepped foot inside Hurricane's. And I would consider myself in the target audience too. Remember this is only pure speculation and its only being mentioned because of the recent closings at Pleasure Island of the Night Clubs.

I doubt if it was to close Disney Quest would be considered due to Disney's lack of interest in it. Only WDW remains opened and even thats being runned down.

I agree this is a great venue especially on a Weekend, I was listening to a ton of very good Welsh acts back here in Febuary.

I read on another board (can't remember where) that Hurricane's was becoming a CM only club and that Disney would be building a new one for guests as part of a Disney Village expansion.

I have also never been to Hurricane's. Perhaps in August?!!!

Hurricane's was pretty cool when it opened. It was more like 8Trax, with great mix of all styles of party music and a great wind machine.

Now, it feels like any techno club in Europe.

I wouldn't be suprised if the majority of the crowd who visited Hurricane's were either Cast Members meeting up for a few drinks after work or people from near by Marne-la-Vallee. From all the guest who I spot during a trip very few of them look like the people who could aford or want to spend a night out at Hurricane's.

As for keeping Hurricane's and adding a new club I find it a bit hard to believe the interest is big enough. Mind you when it comes to the Village and future plans, I really am starting to be convinced that Management have no idea.

I agree. The new greenery is nice, but I fear they've not known what to do with Disney Village for a while!!!

Its a shame to as Disney Village has so much potential. I think the best shopping and dining complex that Disney has ever designed was Downtown Disney in Anaheim. Buildings all blend in together and I think if Disney could re design the Village it would follow a similar pattern. Right now the Village is just a mix of all sorts of differnt designs that do not blend well together. Some are good and some are very bad.
