Just add it to WDW's list disneyallstar.

although that said, it lost a lot of it's charm when the Crazy Horse, Jazz Club, New Year's Party and the Dancers went away. It is about 3 years overdue at least. It is a real shame. Now unless I am going to La Nouba, the due for closure Disneyquest or a gig at HOB, I will not bother with DTD if I ever go to WDW.

It's a real shame.

Well, there's still Planet Hollywood and the movie theater right?

I also like Wolfgang Pucks (is that still there)?

PH is in London and DLP. Movie theatres are everywhere. WP's are all over California.

Yup.

But for me WP is an unusual treat. ;)

Disney dropped the ball decades ago, really, with all the outsourcing.

PI is just a forgotten casualty that didn't want to die so soon.

<<WP's are all over California.>>

Dave - that is an exaggeration. There are precisely two Wolfgang Puck Cafes in CA - one at South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa) and one at Universal Citywalk. Puck has a host of other concepts across the country but the bulk of them are still restricted to casinos (and not just Vegas - he is also in Atlantic City and Detroit) like Chinois, Postrio and Trattoria del Lupo.

<<Crazy Horse>>

Do you mean Wildhorse Saloon? If so did you even go there? It was an awful place - bad food and terrible entertainment that just tried to capitalize on the alleged popularity of country and western at the time. Thankfully it died a death very quickly.

I went there once.

I had fun. Don't really recall the food at all, but the entertainment seemed entertaining (I'm not much of a country and western guy though lol).

Nothing special, I guess. Seemed like an okay place though.

One of the problems was that it replaced Levy's Fireworks Factory - which was good food and tied into the theme of Pleasure Island (Merriweather supposedly manufactured fireworks on the island).
All times are Pacific Time (US)
