I feel like I've been running out of unique Disneyland experiences (which is truly a pathetic thought if you'll look at my list below) up until yesterday when a ride (Space) 101'd on me for the first time. THE FIRST TIMEEEE. Oddly enough it was "ruining" the magic that was the highlight of the day for me, go figure.

Anyway I decided I wanted to compile a list of things I've yet to do/experience in Disneyland. Forgive me if there have been threads like this before! I'm starting this for selfish reasons, but obviously anyone can take from this list the things they have never done in Disneyland (and cross out the ones they have). So I'm hoping people will help me by writing up the things they still haven't done, or maybe telling a story or two about a really unique Disney experience they had. Of course the list is limitless (that's the best part) but I think certain dirty ditties on IASW don't really count. Still... be creative?

I have never...
- Ridden Astro Orbitor!
- Ridden Nemo
- Done Riverside or Balcony seating for Fantasmic
- Done all the rides at DL in one day
- Stayed at a Disney hotel
- Seen Fantasmic from the "front row"
- Eaten at:
. Cafe Orleans
. Daisy's Diner
. Clarabelle's Frozen Yogurt
. Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor
. Main Street Cone Shop
- Beat the score of the person next to me on Buzz
- Been up in front of a crowd at any kind of show, like Billy Hill, Laughing Stock, Sword in the Stone..
- Innoventions.
- Ridden the Horseless carriage on Main Street
- Gone on any kind of Disneyland tour
- Gotten my portrait done
- Purchased anything personalized like Mickey ears or a parasol
- Disney Dream Suite? No? Okay.

(Plenty of other things I've yet to do like swim across the Rivers of America, gate crash a VIP gathering at club 33, and run the length of the mile on the moving walkway at the Haunted Mansion exit, but I can pass on those.)

Well, that's quite a list. I guess I can take from it. I have never:
Eaten at Daisy's Diner (there's a Daisy's Diner?) or at Clarabelles Frozen Yogurt.
Stayed at THE Disney Hotel, but I have stayed at A Disney Hotel (Paradise Pier Resort).
Gotten my portrait done (do they really ever look like you?)
And no Disney Dream Suite (as if!)
Never gone into Club 33 (but I peeked in once)
Done all the rides in Disneyland in ONE day. (But I know we've given it a real good try)
Bought a brick out front of the gates (but would love to have one with our names etched in)
Think we've done the rest you listed.

There are lots more but my little brain is really tired and needs sleep. zzzzzzz

There's a few things on your list that I haven't done either. The only ride/attraction that I've never been on (that was actually open on my last trip) is HISTA. I have no desire to go in either. I hated the movie so I really can't see why I should see the show. Nemo Subs weren't open yet my last trip so technically I haven't been on it either, but for obvious reasons! ;0)

Other stuff I wanna do but never have:

Meet Donald Duck (he always seems to be MIA)
Thrown a coin into the wishing well.
Be on a ride when it breaks down - dorky I know but I think it would be cool to see the backstage area of some of the rides!
Do the Fantasmic! Balcony dessert thingy
Go to Club 33
Not have to share a log on Splash Mtn with people I don't know! :)
Eat a churro (I know - I'm a DL failure - I've never had one!)
Ride in the wheel room on Mark Twain

Where's Daisy's Diner? I've never heard of it.

If you want a unique story - I've got one (as do about 20 other LPers) of the Labuda Canoe Meet that we had where we actually convinced the 2 CMs to let us flip a cookie in the canoe in the middle of the Rivers of America! It was the most unique experience I've ever had and probably nothing will EVER top that!!

<<let us flip a cookie in the canoe in the middle of the Rivers of America>>

My first dumb question of the day: does flip a cookie mean just that? To flip a cookie in the air? Or is that canoe jargon for something far more mysterious and nautical? :)

Anyways, congrats on the cookie flipping.

To list things I've never done would bore you all to tears. Quite a few. One that I'll mention now is that I've never done the canoes.

My biggest regret was never taking the time to see Great Moments with Mr Lincoln.

LOL! I guess it depends on what part of the country you're in as to what you call it - in Idaho we call it flipping a donut or flipping a cookie. Basically same thing you do in a car when you're on icy/snowy roads - when you stomp on the breaks and turn the steering wheel really hard and it turns in a circle really fast...only in a canoe it wasn't exactly "really fast".

OH! How cool is that, Klucky!?!?!?! Lucky you! I'll bet it was hilarious. I guess you guys must've been cracking up!

<--puts "doing a donut" :) on her list of "must-do's" at DL. xoxo

I don't think I have ever laughed harder in my life!! The CM's were sooooo cool too!! That night b4 we left the park I stopped at City Hall and gave them a HUGE kudos for putting up with us!! (Though I didn't tattle on them that they let us do a donut in the canoe in case they would get in trouble for it!)

I'll bet those CM's never forget it, either. You gave them an equally magical moment for sure. And the City Hall compliments had to be the icing on their day's cake. xoxo

Despite how much I love Disneyland, there is A LOT I haven't done. Thems the breaks when you live far away. D:

I've never:
Seen HISTA
Seen the Enchanted Tiki Room
Ridden Nemo
Ridden the Astro Orbitor
Eaten at ANY sit down restaurant in DL or DCA (we always go to the ones across the street, lol)
Ridden TSMM
Seen a show at Fantasyland Theater
Been inside any of the characters' homes
Seen the Golden Horseshoe Revue
Paddled the canoes
Been to Pirates Lair (Have been to TSI, but not since its re-theming)
Been on the Mark Twain
Been on the Sailing Ship Colombia
Ridden Dumbo
Ridden Casey, Jr.
Ridden Storybook Land Canal Boats

But I'm going to DL in a month...so hopefully I can put a serious dent in this list. I'm so ashamed!

Trying to think myself...

For DL I can think of...

Never stayed at the Grand Californian or the Paradise Pier Hotel. I think I have been to the Disneyland Hotel when I was young but I don't remember it. I just have never really seen the point of staying at a DL hotel at DL.

Never had that yogurt at Clarabelle's everyone is talking about. I am going to have to try that.

Walked onto Donald's Boat. It just doesn't look fun. I think I will do it just to take it off the list.

Never been to Club 33 or seen Walt's apartment. I am hoping to fix the club 33 this month and I am not sure I can afford adventures by Disney to fix the other.

Never won anything in the Year of A Million dreams at DL. I did win a dream FP at DAK, but I wasn't able to use it.

Haven't had my portrait done, but I don't really want it done.

I don't have a brick, but I am ok with that.

That is all I can think of.
