Originally ....
I remember reading it might have coincided with the opening of Midway Mania ...
but, obviously, that never materialized.

Then in one of Lutz's updates ....
the preview center opening would be much later into the year.

Last time I was at the former "Seasons of the Vine" .. didn't seem like there was any construction activity at all.

Anybody have any news to shed some light on an opening date?

They're testing it in Superstar Limo.

You know what the funny thing is? They did send a bare Pooh chassis over to Limo for testing on the bus bar for several weeks in '02. The team wanted to see the impact of the motion base on the ability to maintain traction and braking ability.

^^^^
Hence ... the SSL - "The are testing the..." joke .. beginning in 2002! ;)

Aye, 'twas Mr. Lutz's reporting on said testing, and the subsequent scoffs of the haters, that got the joke started.

It's now a Disney classic, just like Mulholland Madness, Lion King 1 1/2, and the Jonas Brothers. And it was thoroughly tested in ... well, you know.

I don't remember where, but a picture was posted recently showing construction going on inside the "Seasons of the Vine" theater. So, progress is being made but I don't think it will open until much later this year.

Is there a preview center for it? You know,"Coming Soon: The Preview Center", complete with artwork, models, etc. of the proposed preview center.
A preview center for "The Preview Center". It's just kind of funny how we're anticipating a preview center like it's an attraction, which I guess it will be.

I miss the days when DL had one in Town Square ....... It's always exciting to see new projects on the drawing board.

So ...
for all you CMs out there ....
wassup?

Is this preview center supposed to remain one of those "aloof" things .. when it comes to it's opening?

An approximate date would be nice. Like, maybe the month?
