Didn't I hear something about mid to late August--just a little bit before the construction walls are due to go up?

If one notices ....
The "Seasons of the Vine" building does not need any facade changes to become (what is to be) a TEMPORARY preview center. If they are to erect any construction walls ... it would be only at the doorway to lay up some kind of signage.

But .. you know .. who knows what they have in mind. I'm just trying to figure out logically what they (may) do.

So, this is the most Lutz states in his last update:

"The bulldozers are set to arrive later this year, and with some luck so will the Preview Center, that is certain. "

Alright .. it's July ..... Lutz, someone .... When is "later this year"?

It's just a preview center ...
I'm surprised there's so much ambiguity over a preview center. But when it comes to Disney ... who'd be surprised with them??!!!! ;)

Oh .. now I know what DCA stands for :~

And on a side note ....
I like that RUMORed idea that the re-creation of the Carthay Circle theater to be a (quasi) permanent Preview Center. If not the originally proposed Walt Disney Story .. then this is a halfway decent compromise.

But that than a shell with nothing inside.

EDIT!

BETTER that than a shell with nothing inside.

I'm 47 now, but back when I was a youngster, that was incredibly exciting to view(and, honestly, it still would be, if they ever get the thing going). I don't know why, but I just loved it. It was the first thing I wanted to do, each visit.
So, yes, I really do miss the preview center. Sure, it's not a huge deal, but it was just one of those things that made DL special; a cut above the rest.

And even though some of those projects seen in the preview center in Town Square never saw the light of day (Discovery Bay, Dumbo Circus) .. it's still great to see a glimpse of the creativity WDI possessed then .. and still does.

No, OC Dean, you misunderstand me. I meant I heard the preview center would open just before the major DCA construction began, which means a week or two before Labor Day.

I can't really see putting in a preview center until they know exactly what is being built and when. Until recently it seemed that some of the things being considered were being changed or reworked.
