(Not only is it funny, it's very encouraging to see something from the Muppets that's so perfectly Muppety.)

There's talk that the guy from "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "How I Met Your Mother" would like to write a new Muppet movie, albeit in the style of the classic 1970s-80s Muppet style.

I for one would wish they'd stop making new Muppets all the time when there are no new Muppet projects out. Just stick with the classic gang and the standout Muppets from the post-Muppet Show programs: Waldo and Clifford from "Jim Henson Hour" (Waldo's also in Muppet-Vision 3D) and Pepe, Johnny Fiama and Sal from "Muppets Tonight" (although I really don't see Pepe's appeal). I won't count Bobo the Bear since his 'form' is generic...and Bean Bunny was already around after The Muppet Show, but appeared on Muppet Babies.

In addition to all 3 seasons of TMS on DVD, I also have the Muppet version of Monopoly, some TMS coasters for its 25th anniversary, the first 3 films on Beta and VHS, the 30th anniversary special on Beta, a figure of Doglion that I picked up at World of Disney in NYC a few years ago, and I used to have a set of Muppet drums. :)

Is it wrong that I have a mad crush on Sam the Eagle?
