Hoping to get some advice from others out there. We're coming from Hawaii in mid-November and are travelling with a party of five. Need to find good accomodations near Sea World and San Diego Zoo. I haven't the foggiest idea where to book. Room must have space for five. Tried looking at travelworm but only listed a max of four guests per room. Would appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks and Aloha! reido1

When ever I've visited San Diego I've always stayed at the Bahia Resort Hotel which is very close to Sea World and is in a great location. It offers differnt types of rooms and lots of leasure activities, it also has a seal pool.

Good suggestion from Malin.

I've never stayed at the Bahia, but have stayed at it's "sister" property across Mission Bay, the Catamaran.

The two resorts share a paddle-wheel style boat that ferries guests back and forth across the bay. You can catch it for an easy, car-less venture (parking can be difficult ;-) over to Pacific Beach. Just exit the Catamaran and cross Mission Blvd., head down a side street and you're at the ocean and great restaurants. :-)
All times are Pacific Time (US)
