The only problem with that is there is no real connection thematically between the Pixar movies other than the brand of them. Even the Fantasyland attractions are all based in old Europe (with the exception of Dumbo), so they work, even though they are all different locations and time periods. I don't see how a toy chest, an ant farm, a factory, the ocean, retro-future city, desert, Paris, and apocalyptic future locations could all work together to make an area that makes sense and is visually pleasing.

Well Ferrot, that is exactly what they are doing with Pixar Plaza in DHS. It is designed to look like the actual PIXAR Studios in Emeryville, CA. Even as going as far as having special bricks kilned to match the color of the actual studio complex. As of now only TSMM is there but there is more to come.

thats one of the main reasons why i think pixar isn't getting there own park, (which is too bad they would make so much money off that) each movie is just way too diffrent to work well together, unless they wanted to have each fil have it's own land, but then they would always be bulding it, and by the time they got it done, it would be time to open another. although there are some areas that would work well together, you could do a big city land, with incredibles, monsters, ratatouillie and maybe even wall.e for example, and then do a bug area a toy area and under the sea oh and radiator springs

Ya post two. I agree a lot w the others here... Every pixar movie DOESN'T have to have a ride and look like Fantasyland, Pixarland could be were they could showcase many makings, concepts, the latest and never was of pixar.

you ppl arent getting wat im trying to say, make it like critter country were its a sub area in frontierland(yes thats true, get ovr it if u dont like that) with a few things in there instead of Fantasyland with the cramming of attractions from every corner movies!

The Hollywood Studios Backlot allows for you to have all different kinds of elements in one area and it be forgivable.

For looks - it would have been nicer to see us arrive at the Monsters Inc. building instead of a bunch of doors that don't connect to the story inside.

They could build something inbetween TOT and The Hyperion and have the people queued in an enclosed area beneath the attraction (attraction goes to the second floor - people wait in a nice air conditioned entertaining area (similar to the queue used for Rocket Rods) for the Hyperion show.

Another element can be added where the food/50's diner area is and can be built to go to the fenceline.

I like bringing in Radiator Springs, it will have a nice feel. Though another area in the park without trees.

What I would like to see is an increase of the Show/Dining experience. Take the technology of the lobby of the Animation building and create whatever world you want.

I can just picture when the room would transform to the dance scene from Wall E - the room would grow dark and the two would float from screen to screen.

Like Ratatouille, Wall E just does not seem like a marketable character for a theme park. I can't envision what a Wall E attraction would be like.

I heard Disney is opening a Pixar Resort in Shanghai, China. I think it's going to be called John Lasseter World. ;)

No need for one in London, not with DLPR being a quick Eurostar ride away.
