For the first time in years, Comic-Con is NOT scheduled in direct conflict with the NFFC Convention. So I will be there with the family!

>>2:30-3:30 Disney Pixar: Bolt and UP...

This is a big one! Check out the latest on Bolt and the first glimpse of Up. Will Disney have their first big hit in many years? Will Pixar continue their streak?<<

And, of course, this is scheduled in conflict with the Pushing Daisies panel. (We love Pushing Daisies!)

For what it's worth, Disney Feature Animation brought a sneak peek at Up to the NFFC Convention last week. But I will be eager to see it again, or anything new they have to offer!

By the way, on Saturday, July 26 at 10am there is a seminar called The Black Panel. They will be talking mostly about Rap, Hip Hop and B.E.T. But maybe, just maybe, they's have some time for The Princess and the Frog. Maybe???

I know Doug!

I can't believe that they finally don't conflict with NFFC.

But it is frustrating how two Disney panels are conflicting each other (i.e. Pushing Daisies, Animation Panel).

Oh well, I look forward to your reports.

Both Bolt and Up had slightly different presentations. ComicCon, however, had Pete Docter to deliver the presentation.

The Disney booth on the exhibition floor was terrible, quite frankly. It was simply a big, gray space, half of which was occupied by a switchback line filled with people waiting for T-shirts. A couple of times I approached to take photos and was chased away by surly attendants.

The rest of the booth was largely taken up with a Nightmare Before Christmas diorama set, available for $25K dollars.

Disney Feature Animation had a small booth with a couple of friendly animators. They still had some of their book available on Sunday.
