Topic: The next BIG MEET and Golden Doobie Awards

1	LuLu Thu 8/7/2008 3:49p	Many LPers have been chatting behind the scenes to plan next year's Big Meet! I want to give everyone who's planning ahead for 2009 DLR travel plenty of notice - we are moving the timing of the Doobie Awards next year. Thanks to 999HAUNTS' research, we know that *many* LPers plan to be in the parks in early December 2009. So we are now combining the International Meet, LP's 10th Anniversary Celebration, AND the Golden Doobie Awards into one Big LP Meet, currently planned for Saturday evening, December 5, 2009. Plans are just getting underway, so I can't announce anything more specific yet. But it will likely be an "Official LP Meet" and I expect it will bear some similarities to the July events that were sponsored by LP in the past. AND, Doobekah are hoping to attend! Altho we don't have much in the way of details to share, I know you'll all want to be there, so mark your calendars and start saving your pennies to visit with us in December 2009!

6	LuLu Thu 8/7/2008 4:25p	:-) I'm sure there will be lots of LPers in the parks in July, and I'd guess that a lot of the "attraction" meets will still take place. But that would be up to the individual planners. Nothing LP-sponsored or "official."
7	Mrs ElderP Thu 8/7/2008 4:26p	STIL--the meet last July was not "official" as Doobeckah were not there. I would imagine that some people will still get together next July, but there will be no Golden Doobie awards and there will be less people than this year.
