last year my parents & my aunt & uncle & I saw Arlo Guthrie at the Napa Valley Opera House, at one point in the concert while Arlo was talking, the alarm on my mom's cell phone went off, arlo stopped and looked right at her.

Saw two BCB shows in June.

Just saw Green Day at the Key Arena in Seattle last night. They put on an amazing 2 hour show! That's the most I've jumped up and down in years. Am still recovering today.

We're seeing No Doubt/Paramore at the White River Ampitheater in 2 weeks. Am really looking forward to it but probably not as much as my daughter.

Then two more BCB shows over Labor Day weekend and Pink/The Ting Tings a week later.

Summer of music! :-)

The No Doubt/Paramore show was great! I've never danced that much during a show before. (Moshing doesn't count. LOL) It looked like everyone in the amphitheater was dancing throughout the show. I love the guys in the band. They rarely get that much attention but they are amazing. I also love Gabriel McNair and Stephen Bradley.

And Gwen has amazing abs. ;-)

What I find really odd was that during Paramore's set, 2 teenaged girls stood up to dance and tons of people shouted at them to sit down, cursed them out and even got security to come and tell them to sit. What the heck is that about?! ROCK CONCERT. Hello? It's not like they were standing in front of the handicapped section. Besides, each ticket was $94...you should get to dance when you pay that much!

Mele, I'm glad to hear the show was great. MrPB and I are seeing them Aug 2nd at Irvine Meadows. I'm really excited for the show. I fear for poor MrPBs eardrums though when I sing the loudest (and probably worst) I can all night. Did The Sounds open for them? If so, were they good?

My last concert was Incubus at the Hollywood Bowl.

Last concert was Smokey Robinson on July 15th. The man is classy, I'll give him that!

The Sounds did open for them. We didn't really get to see them because we were in the line from Hell at the merch table. There were some problems with crowd management but all of that really was totally outshined by the awesome time we had. :-)

My daughter's first concert was No Doubt/blink-182 back when she was five years old (in 2004) at the same venue so it was really fun to do it again!

Paramore was good. The lead singer has a really amazing voice even if that song from "Twilight" bugs me. ;-)

I saw their picture in the paper, man did they get old!!! The review said the show was great. The music of Elton John would have been enough to thrill me, hope you enjoyed the show.
