Woo, how did you guys like the Green Day show. The CA shows sounded pretty freaking awesome.
So, spent the weekend raising money for the Looking Out Foundation, which is run by Brandi Carlile (Band). The money collected is going to such amazing causes, things that I feel very strongly about. I am still so grateful for what I am blessed to be apart of. I won't go into how perfectly magical life can be but I will say that the concerts were AMAZING. I was a greeter and sold raffle tickets to a group of about 250 people, half of whom I know well enough to call good friends. I'm just giddy about the fact that I get to selfishly spend my time with amazing people, listening to amazing music and raise money towards self-defense classes for women, financial aid for a missionary who gave up everything to do God's work but was tragically injured and has no money to take care of himself, a documentary where women in prison talk about things that would have helped them not choose the paths they have taken. This will be shown to children in school. Plus, our work means hundreds of pounds of food for local food banks. So many people will be helped by our party this weekend.

October 10, Amy Ray opener, headlining act: BCB
Thursday, BCB in Portland.
Friday, Gossip in Seattle (Can't remember the name of the first band, the second band was called "Men". They were better than the first band.)
Saturday, Katie Herzig opener, headlining act: BCB
Next show, Nov. 9: Dropkick Murphys in Portland and maybe They Might Be Giants in Seattle on Nov. 10. Not sure about the last show because I am so tired after this past weekend that I am contemplating going into hibernation for the next few months.
I had so much fun seeing Gossip on Friday. I have never danced so much at a show. They are pretty awesome and I will be making a huge effort to see them again asap.

Last month, Colbie Caillat, with Hoobastank, Howie Day and Train. Colbie Caillat was awsome! Hoobastank was good too. The concert was in the park in Sacramento. I got tickets for $10. What a deal!

Saw "Dropkick Murphys". There were 3 opening bands. I liked the first band which is from Portland. They're called "My Life in Black & White". I think we're going to see them play a club in Tacoma on Saturday.
On Friday BCB is playing a free in-store in Seattle. Going to see that for sure.
My friend's band "Late September Dogs" is playing a couple more times this year and we're going to try to get to those too.

I don't know if it's considered a "concert" per se, but AGG and I went to see Jeff Dunham last night. OMG! It was hysterical and he actually got the hiccups. Guitar Guy brought out a bottle of Jack Daniels so he took a couple of big swallows. That seemed to help. He brought out Bubba J for an encore and half of the audience (including me) were saying Bubba J's punchlines with him! Jeff said it was one of the wierdest shows he's ever done. To top it all off, when he shot a t-shirt out of the "big gun" it hit two of the sound barriers and broke them!! The whole thing was hilarious.
