Topic: What was the last concert you went to?

151	mele Mon 9/13/2010 10:26a	Was bummed to not see GD this year, Parsec. They always put on a fun show. The house show/benefit shows were a blast. I bought a ton of kazoos for the house show. There's a part that has just whistling and we surprised the band by playing along with kazoos. LOL. Also, we raised $40,000 so that was pretty awesome. I saw my friend and her husband (she plays bass and he's a drummer) who play with Charlie Drown a couple of weeks ago. That's always a good show. They played Hempfest but I was too overwhelmed by the thought of finding parking, let alone walking around with all of the people, so I missed that show. Not much on the horizon. We're thinking of seeing Screeching Weasel/Cute Lepers at the Showbox Market on Friday. Might go to Phila to see a couple of BCB shows in a month, maybe seeing Street Dogs in a few weeks. Definitely seeing BCB's symphony show in November and there's talk of a "secret show"...which basically means bar show since they're too big to do bar shows in SEA anymore. We're kind of cutting back on seeing shows this fall as it's harder to get a babysitter for us. We'd like to see more new-to-us bands instead of the same ol', same ol'.

157	mele Sun 5/29/2011 4:16p	Brandi Carlile Band at the Handlebar in Greenville, SC 05.21.11. I really enjoyed the opening act, Ivan & Alyosha (also from Seattle), too. It was one of the best BCB shows I've been to (which is good since I flew there from Seattle with a concussion!)
