Blue Tuesday on 6/21 - that show was GREAT! Started off with Ruthie Foster and then transitioned into why I was really there - David Grissom and Malford Milligan on stage at the same time, meaning I get to hear my favorite song EVER performed live. And, YAYCAKES to Matt loving the music. :D (Now if only he'd stop guessing ZZ Top every time Stevie Ray Vaughn comes on the radio - OY!)

7-7 - Andy Grammer who's got the peppy hit song "Keep Your Head Up" - I soooooooooooo much dug that show and that young man. He's an eternal optimist type and told us repeatedly how much he loves Austin and how he loves coming here as often as he can.

Next up will be next Wednesday when I see Christina Perri.

Sunday night (7/10), we saw Sarah McLachlan at Red Rocks here in CO. For the first time, she performed with a symphony (in this case the CO Symphony). It was AWESOME! I think she is doing a couple other symphony backed shows, the next being next weekend at the Hollywood Bowl.

^^^ Awesome! I've been a fan of hers since I was about 19 or so. I'd love to see her sometime!

Very cool. I forgot this thread.

A couple of weeks ago we went to see Biffy Clyro and the Foo Fighters (there we two average support bands before them, forgot who they were). The foos played for 2.75 hours and were joined by Roger Taylor of Queen and Alice Cooper, an awesome surprise. We loved it. And the fireworks after were amazing, far better than anything Disney does in Europe. I now know I am too old for the mosh pit these days.

LOL! It was free concert to see a Beatle's tribute band. It was actually a lot of fun.

Tonight will be Christina Perri (of recent "Jar of Hearts" fame). I highly recommend you check out her other songs, too. There's one on her album called "Arms" that I will DIE if she does not play tonight!

Once again, the Fab Four on 07/17/11.

Lately I've been going to more plays than concerts. Young Frankenstein, Mary Poppins, The Producers......

'cause we've had good stuff lately. Technically, those are all musicals so at least singing was involved. <g>
