Sat 8/16/2008 7:46a | I actually survived the Van's Warped Tour in June (outside, in Phoenix, in the summer!!!) with a gaggle of teen girls. I wasn't about to just drop them off for the day so I was elected the parent to stay.
Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I actually liked a few of the bands. They did offer this lame "Parental Reverse Day Care" tent ... the water was warm and the A/C wasn't working - it was cooler in the shade at the main stage.
I had quite a few twenty-somethings stop me and comment to the kids what a "cool" mom I must be!!!
They were ready to leave before I was!!! |
