That sounds great!
I think my last concert was Bruce Springsteen. Took DD and DS - it was their first concert. Awesome. |

I remember all my life Raining down as cold as ice A shadow of a man A face through a window Crying in the night The night goes into
Morning, just another day Happy people pass my way Looking in their eyes I see a memory I never realized you made me so happy, oh Mandy
Well you came and you gave without taking but I sent you away, oh Mandy well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking I need you today, oh Mandy
I'm standing on the edge of time I Walked away when love was mine Caught up in a world of uphill climbing The tears are in my mind And nothing is rhyming, oh Mandy
Well you came and you gave without taking but I sent you away, oh Mandy well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking And I need you today, oh Mandy
Yesterday's a dream I face the morning Crying on the breeze the pain is calling, oh Mandy
Well you came and you gave without taking but I sent you away, oh Mandy well you kissed me and stopped me from shaking And I need you today, oh Mandy |

| mele Sat 8/23/2008 7:24p | Another fantastic concert at the Washington Park Zoo (in Portland, OR) last night. It just showed how much better a show is when the audience is really there to have fun. The band and audience feed off of the energy and it's pretty darn magical. I got to talk to the band afterwards and they were definitely pumped from the show.
Also, the zoo did a little show with large birds before the opening act. It was pretty amazing to see the bald eagle soar over the crowd and land on the stage. I don't think I'll be missing any Portland shows from now on. :-D
Only one more show to go and then it's back to my boring, non-rock and roll lifestyle. LOL |

Just got back from seeing Weird Al. :D
He is such a great entertainer. We saw him about 8 years ago too. We loved it both times, but I think it was even better this time. He sang "Smells like Nirvana" this time! When he did, he dressed up like Kurt Cobain and there were cheer leaders etc just like in the "Smells like teen spirit" music video. This was just one of many highlights. |
