<<You are making that trip to see the BCB?>>

Yeah, I'm a groupie. (Not *that* kind of groupie. LOL) I should be embarrassed to have seen so many shows but I'm not. :-D

Eh, not really impressed with her. Kinda boring. But I only listen to wierd stuff. So its not surprising that she doesn't appeal to my tastes. She's like anti-wierd.
Also, me having Bachelors in Classical Guitar Performance makes me even pickier.

^--If you played country guitar instead of classical, someone might even say that you're a picky picker.

I probably would have been bored with her, too, if I had just heard the albums(especially her first album) but I first saw her play live and it's quite a bit different. ;-)

On Thursday I went to the Rock and Worship Road Show in Ontario, CA

The bands were Mercyme, Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson (who are from Ontario, Canada), Tenth Avenue North, and Addison Road.

Great concert. It was at the new arena in Ontario. It's called the Citizen Business Bank Arena. It's a very very nice place. Sound was perfect for the show!

D'oh! Just saw this.... I'll go ahead and give the last TWO I went to...

March 21: Elton Johna nd Billy Joel Face 2 Face tour at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. AMAZING show! Elton is great and Billy Joel? WOW... Billy Joel is a GREAT showman. Wonderful entertainer and funny dirty old man! hehe

Plus, Billy gets points for doing Deep in the Heart of Texas and Yellow Rose of Texas bits. :)

And I LOVE that the intro and outro music were instrumental recordings from Aida.

Prior to that was 27 February - California Guitar Trio at the One World Theatre here in Austin. VERY nice, PLUS since I'm in Austin, we got the added bonus of 3 VERY YOUNG marimba players (music majors at UT) coming out and playing a song with the men. First people who've ever translated CGT music to marimba as far as the members of CGT are aware. That was a really pleasnat totally groovy show. Nice!

Brandi Carlile Band w/Gregory Alen Isakov at the World Cafe in Philadelphia on March 24th.

BCB w/GAI at the Ram's Head Tavern in Annapolis, Maryland on March 25th.

BCB w/GAI at the Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia on March 26th.

Amazing, amazing shows. Check out Gregory Alen Isakov. He is unsigned and really shy on stage but I really love his voice. Here's a video from a show in Bellingham, WA that I saw on Feb. 6th.

Next up:

BCB playing with the Spokane Symphony on April 23rd.

BCB at the Aladdin in Portland, OR on June 11th.

Brandi and the Silver Thread Traveling Ghost Show (Gaelic Gangsta Rap) at Seattle's Triple Door on June 13th. (Actually it's a BCB "secret" show.)

No Doubt with Paramore at the White River Ampitheater near Seattle on July 19th.

It looks like it will be a musical summer! The same music but music just the same. LOL :-D
