1	999HAUNTS Wed 8/13/2008 3:44p	SCENE ONE OPENING SCENE: ANAHEIM HOTEL ROOM - SHIVA IS RUNNING FRANTICALLY AROUND THE HOTEL ROOM LOOKING FOR HIS FOURTH 4GB MEMORY CARD AND HIS THIRD CAMERA BATTERY. THE LOOK ON HIS FACE IS PANIC AS HE CONTEMPLATES HOW INCOMPLETE THE DAY WILL BE IF HE DOESN’T HAVE ENOUGH EQUIPMENT TO TAKE HIS DAILY SET OF DISNEYLAND PICTURES. “Tinkerroon! Tinkerroon! Where in Walt’s name is my fourth memory card?” “Check your pair of ears #10, snookums” replies Tinkeroon. “You know, the reindeer ones? I think I saw your camera equipment over there somewhere.” PAN RIGHT. SHIVA HAMMER-TIMES OVER TO THE EAR DRAWER OF HIS HOTEL DRESSER. WE HEAR A SCRAPE AS HIS BRUTAL STRENGTH PULLS THE DRAWER COMPLETELY OUT OF THE DRESSER AND ACROSS THE HOTEL FLOOR. “Roon, it’s not here! What am I going to do? How can I get my 54th shot of piratebrittany picking her nose now? It is tradition, you know…” “I know, cupcake,” croons Tinkerroon. “Don’t fret. You’ll find it.” PAN TO THE PHONE AS IT STARTS TO RING. IT’S ONE OF THE CLONES. “Hello?” answers Shiva. “No, We can’t leave right now to get our anniversary buttons from City Hall. I cannot find my memory card. Yes, I know I have three others…no, no, that just won’t do. You two will have to leave without us and we’ll meet up later. We will be there as soon as we can – what? No, right now I do not really care what they are saying about me in the ENTERTAIN SMEDLEY thread…this is much more important. See you soon I hope. Ok – thanks. Bye.” PAN LEFT. TINKERROON IS GIGGLING LIKE A NEWBORN BABY. “Pumpkin Pie darling, I found your camera equipment!” “Where on earth was it?” exhales Shiva. “In the refrigerator” explains Tinkerroon. “In the refrigerator??? That would explain why there was a Dole Whip in my camera bag!!” END OF SCENE
2	999HAUNTS Wed 8/13/2008 3:44p	SCENE TWO: PAN FORWARD WHERE WE SEE SHIVA AND TINKEROON SPRINTING FOR THE TRAM DOCKED IN FRONT OF THE “MICKEY AND FRIENDS” PARKING STRUCTURE “Hurry Shiva! There’s the tram!” “I know, Roon – but have you any idea how heavy this bag is?” “I’m sure it’s quite heavy, sugar dumpling, what is in it?” purrs Tinkerroon. “Don’t tell me it’s more camera equipment!” “No it’s not, it’s full of ears. You know we have to meet Lady Starlight in a bit – so I have my Apple Pie Caramel Apple set of ears” says Shiva matter-of-factly. “See how I made the ears look like apples? Pretty clever, huh? I just can’t quite figure out how to keep the caramel from dripping into my eye…but it’s worth it because they make Miss Starlight quivaaaaa” “Oh, you!” giggles Tinkeroon. “Then, we meet up with 999 and PB later today so I have to sport my special pair of ears, see?” “Oh honey pie! I love how half of the ears are HM and the other half are POTC. Where in blue blazes did you get those?” questions Tinkerroon. “Those crazy gals from England sent them to me. Custom made and everything!” boasts Shiva. “Aren’t they great? I don’t know how they managed to get the water to stay put on the POTC side of the ears, but one thing’s for sure….those girls adore me.” “I’m sure they do, cinnamon lips. Who could resist?” assures Tinkerroon. “Anyway” continues Shiva, “We will also be meeting up with STIL and her beau, so I have my top hat ears in this bag as well.” “Won’t he get mad that you are copying him? A top hat is HIS thing, babybottoms” warns Tinkerroon. “Honey, I have ears to represent every person we are meeting with today – he should be honored that he’s being honored by me” states Shiva. “You are correct as always, sugar bear!” exclaims Tinkerroon. PAN LEFT AS TRAM CONDUCTOR TAPS HIS FOOT AND WAITS FOR THEM TO FINALLY BOARD. END OF SCENE
3	999HAUNTS Wed 8/13/2008 3:45p	SCENE THREE: PAN RIGHT – SHIVA AND TINKERROON BOARD THE TRAM. THE TRAM DEPARTS TO THE DISNEYLAND ENTRANCE - CHAOS ENSUES “Hey Roon, isn’t that CMPaley sitting there in the front row?” inquires Shiva. “It is! Hey Chris!” SHIVA JUMPS OVER THE TWO TRAM SEATS BLOCKING HIM FROM HIS REUNION WITH THE CHURRO POPE. TWO WOMEN ARE “BLESSED” IN THE PROCESS “Hey Popemeister – how ya doing? Guess what? I had a dream about you last week. “You did? What was it about?” asks CMPaley. “I had a dream that we tried the POTC trick on the tram…..you game?” teases Shiva. “Man, are you insane? No one could do that with a tram – or could they?” queries CMPaley as he thoughfully strokes his chin with his pointer finger and thumb. THE BOYS LOOK AT EACH OTHER- CHUCKLE- AND PREPARE TO ATTEMPT THE IMPOSSIBLE. THE TRAM ROUNDS TURN ONE – BOTH OF OUR HEROIC MEN ENLIST THE HELP OF OTHER FLUFFY MEN, LEAN FORWARD, AND PREPARE FOR THE BOAT TRICK. PAN BACK – THE TRAM POPS A BACK WHEELIE, SPEWING PACKED LUNCHES AND SUNGLASSES EVERYWHERE. “Whoa! That was cool!” yells Shiva. “Are you ok, Mr Churro Man?” “Yeah, that WAS cool, but where’s your bag of ears?” inquires CMPaley. THERE ARE EARS EVERYWHERE – CARAMEL IS DRIPPING FROM THE TREETOPS. “Help, buttercakes! Get me down from here!” THE DISNEYLAND FIRE DEPARTMENT IS CALLED IN TO RETRIEVE TINKERROON WHO IS DANGLING FROM A ROOFTOP. END OF SCENE
