I was really surprised to see how well those pictures and video came out - especially since the weather was so nasty that day!! ;-) But at least it didn't rain until AFTER the parade!!! |

Mon 10/22/2001 6:06p | I agree, Jim. The parade is simple yet fun. I think it would've been a big help if the music was somehow synced with the parade. I think that would've made the parade for me. As it was, it was fun but I wouldn't make a point of seeing it again (as I would the other 3 parades), but I would've avoid it as I do some other parades. It was my least favorite of the 4 new parades.

ORGOCH: Well, the big problem fer ME was all that loud talkin' throughout the whole dang thing! Why does that Roman Holiday fella feel the rest of us is so dumb we have ta have HIM tell us who everybody is while they come down the street?! I swear, I was so tempted ta put a frog in that man's throat--and would have, if my two loony sisters hadn't stopped me!
ORWEN: Well, yes, those announcers DO interfere with the background music of the parade. The female announcers were even worse. Their high pitched voices sort of ruined the experience for me. But at least I went and filled out a complaint form at Pest--I mean--Guest Relations! And the overall look of the parade is still quite nice to behold! |
