Thank you for your coverage of the Build-A-Bear Workshop. I am a part time bear builder at that location and was unable to attend the opening ceremonies. Your article gave me the opportunity to see what I had missed.

Everyone come by the new Build-A-Bear Workshop. It's be best spot for fun in Downtown Disney, and you get to take home a new best friend.

I know at the Las Vegas Workshop they have an exclusive bear pal. Will there or is there such an exclusive Disneyland Resort bear pal now?

Without trying to sound mean, this is a flash-in-the-pan enterprise. This location will probably fold within a year. Sorry to be such a downer, but it's true. : - (

By the way if you are a Premium Annual Passholder be sure to ask about the discount available at the Downtown Disney Location.

Oh...I forgot to mention. At Epcot they sell doll dresses in Germany that are duplicates of Snow White, Alice and other Disney female's costumes.

I'd love to see these types of costumes available at the Downtown Disney location for my #1 pal.

My son went to the one in SF on a field trip in kdg. He's now in 4th grade and still has the bear. It's adorable and I love it so much more because he made it.

I think being able to make your own bear as a souvenier or gift is great and I'm sure it will do very well in Downtown Disney.

I kinda agree with Truman553...Although I really like the Build A Bear store at DDT. Its a great concept and hope it stays around for awile. But this store does look a little temporary.

>>But this store does look a little temporary.

Don't let looks deceive. The time for closures is actually right now with the economic recession, but they happily opened the store. It's very popular.

The store is rather trendy so people can bore easily with it, but I don't expect that to happen for awhile, maybe in 5 years. The owners must constantly update their products or risk becoming obsolete.

I think they should have more ways of customizing their bears with different skin colors and attachments. They should offer more types of animals. They should offer puppet versions.
