However, I'm GETTING REALLY PSYCHED! It will be very exciting. I do feel a little sad for those there now with so much under wraps. I hope they'll come back in 05! |

| CuriosWolfSo Fri 8/20/2004 11:39p | Is the Queen of Hearts, from "Alice in Wonderland", taking over Sleeping Beauty's Castle? Why her cards are repainting the Castle? Surely, they're not going to paint it red like they did with her roses long ago? ;O> |

I am going to Disneyland the first week in November and am not too happy about the possibility of the castle being completely covered, along with 2 and possibly 3 of the mountains being out of operation as well at that time. |

But we knew this was going to happen if DL was gonna sparkel for it's 50th Birthday (especially after rotting away for 10 years). All this major work is both necessary and welcomed. It will all be worth it come next summer! |

| Tink54 Wed 8/25/2004 10:36a | We are some of the unlucky ones who planned our Disneyland trip for this October, not realizing that most of the main attractions were going to be closed down and that all the construction was going on. What a disappointment this is going to be for my two granddaughters who will be making their first, and probably only trip for many years. All the things they were looking forward to are closed or under construction. It's too late to cancel or change plans, I feel that Disney should offer some sort of deep discounts or special offers to all of us who are being ripped off just because this was the best time for our vacations. |

| superphred Wed 8/25/2004 3:44p | the good news is that after everything is back up, they can go on a better cycle of refurbing rides so it's not so much at once. it's rather tragic that all this has to be done at once, but it really does need it. |
