| Tannerman Tue 2/6/2001 8:40a | Very cool update. Thanks for the photos. There isn't much on the net about DisneySea, so it's good to see an update. |

| Disneybrad Tue 2/6/2001 11:18a | I know everyone thinks this is going to be a great park, but lloking at the photos I noticed something.
With all the complaints that DCA doesn't have a berm and instead just has a large wall around the park, it appears that DisneySea, doens't have a berm as well., yet no-one is complaing about it. |

| Marc -DL Traveler Tue 2/6/2001 4:40p | Actually, DisneySea uses a combination of berms (the one at Lost River Delta is better described as a mountain!), structures, and, along the side of the park up against Tokyo Bay, breakers, to hide the outside world.

I mean, there's no berm at MGM, ECPOT, or AK, yet you don't see anything there. |

| TDLFAN Tue 2/6/2001 11:18p | Disneybrad, Marc forgot to mention one interesting point. The TDR monorail line travels along the perimeter of TDSea and the imagineers had the foresight to lower the beam to ground level behind the berms and structure in the back of the park, so that the integrity and look of the themed lands can be maintained.
Also, you all might be surprised that only about 1/4 of TDSea actually looks towards Tokyo Bay, and that is the back of the park only. One side shares the backstage areas with TDL, the front has the monorail st. and the parking structure and the east side faces a water canal in the port area. All of this is to the best of my knowledge as i have walked the entire perimeter of the resort. |

| Reedy Creek Wed 2/7/2001 5:46p | That construction in Mermaid Lagoon gave me heart palpitations!!! They seem to be ACTUALLY constructing full scale representations of structures from a recent Disney movie!!!
What a novel concept-perhaps the OLC realizes that this is exactly WHY we come to a Disney park, for pure Disney magic and not to see giant pink dinosaurs that house sunglasses!!! |

| Beaumandy Tue 2/13/2001 5:32p | This update is killing me. TDS is going to be awesome! Do I need to say how frustrating it is that they are builing this place on the other side of the world. Am I selfish for wanting this type of park in the old DL parking lot? |
