I don't know about all you guys, but I think DisneySea might suck......NOT!!!!

I am ALWAYS in awe everytime I see pictures of this place and amazed I will be there AND Disneyland Paris for the first time within 5 months. I can't tell you guys how excited I will be to catch these two parks, especially since DCA was a little disapointing, but this is DEFINITELY my year of Disney.

Its funny, everytime I see pictures of the Columbia ship, I always think of Titanic. Knowing how HUGE that movie was in that country (and I guess pretty much every country except North Korea), I can imagine everyone trying to do that famous Jack and Rose pose in front of the ship and that "King of the World" phrase (only in Japanese).

KoreaDisney,

I'm sorry that this is off-topic, but from your name, I'm wondering if you've been to Lotte World in Seoul, and if so, what you think of it.

I was there last year and was amazed at this theme park inside a mall. I thought Sinbad was pretty impressive. I wonder if they had any help from Disney.

I too have heard great reviews of the Lotte World theme park but have never been there, even though i have visited Seoul a few times. All i have seen there is I-Tai-Won.

However i am concerned about the Simbad attraction. I hope Disney has not ripped off that attraction and is recycling it at TDS.. (Care to pacify my concerns CousinOrville??) I mean, it's bad enough for example that the MiraCosta Hotel is a carbon copy of the Portofino at Universal Orlando, a happy coincidence i hope.

The Sinbad ride is very much like Pirates but with Sinbad. Sinbad is pretty universal (no pun intended) and is also represented at IOA.

Oh the benefits of being a free agent in show business...

I STILL wish it had been Aladdin.

Somebody told me that Sinbad is BIG in Japan, however, ever since that day in 1994, sitting in the darkened cinema watching Aladdin escape on the magic carpet from the cave of wonders, I have dreamed of a similar experience at a Disney park.........

It just seems completely logical to have an "Aladdin" dark ride at TDS.

But then, the idea of a "Little Mermaid-Under the Sea" dark ride also seems like a no-brainer and WHERE IN THE WORLD do you go to experience that????

I guess because it's Disney Seas and it was The Seven Voyages of Sinbad, and Aladdin takes place basically in the desert is probably the reason.

But I agree.

Well, we are just going to have to wait until the Simbad ride opens and see if by any chance there is a hidden Alladin there somewhere.

But in the meantime, from what i have been able to see from the TDS' perimeter, those minarets in Arabian Coast look great!

Can't wait to ride "Genie" on the carrousel!
