Great article, lots of nice stuff. I love the light up Studio Sign, looks great, and the box it comes in looks beautiful.

I recieved the minature street sign during the week and I was disappointed. The paint work on mine is pretty poor, compard to the one featured in the article, so I'm going to send it back.

The Mary poppins stuff looks fun, and the Jack Skellington is amazing!

>>Fads come and fads go - managers come and managers go - divisions come and divisions go - they've survived and prospered...<<

How long ago was this text written? Kind of rubbing salt in the wounds, isn't it?

Hey DisLee -

The copy was written about two weeks ago - well after I learned that Kevin and Jody had been let go by the company - the passage you quoted is meant to point out that the simple fact talent survives, even in the management heavy Disney Company - or rather the mis-management heavy Disney Company - talent, vision, passion, drive and creativity survives anything - and Kevin and Jody have all that - those who've decided that the Disneyshopping.com budget could be balanced on the backs of 7 artists decidedly don't - we shall see.

I also love the Mary Poppins items, and cant wait for them to be released. I'll be moving in a few months, and am now planning the decor for the new apartment. I just received my Alice in Wonderland Doorknob, and plan to create a "door" to hang it on. Of course the door will go nowhere, just for decoration. I've also purchased a couple of the Alice garden statues that Disneyshopping had; those will be painted and placed somewhere near the "door". Now I have to figure out what to do with the Mary Poppins items. :)

Hmmm, it's weird that the Mary Poppins penguin big fig is indicated as being released in another month or so. They must be talking just about a re-release because we bought that exact big fig about a year or more ago. It's actually the only big fig we own that's on display in our house.

Nice pictures, and some nice stuff, but glad to see there's nothing for us to spend money on!

Great Scott, these are cool items!! I love the signpost, but even the small version is shockingly out of reach.

The Oswalk plush does look really nice, as does the Mary Poppins Tapestry.
